A Graphic Designer from Wilmington, Delaware.
Gabriel Flocco was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware since 2002. His start in graphic design began in 2016, after he enrolled at Delcastle Technical High School where he studied Graphic Arts. While at Delcastle he grew as an artist through the Adobe Suite (specifically Illustrator) and fell in love with logo design.
After high school, Gabriel enrolled at Millersville University in Pennsylvania as an Interactive and Graphic Design major. Here he was able to explore the ins and outs of graphic design at a higher level and perfect the craft that he loved. Exploring other artists, such as Allan Peters and Aaron Draplin, Gabriel found his niche and attachment to thick lines and safety orange.
Now, Gabriel is graduating, leaving Millersville with a Bachelor of Design under his arm and headed back to Delaware to pursue a career in graphic design. Collector of many things, hoarder of few, you’ll most likely find him shifting through his sticker collection or hearing him explaining why pennies were temporarily made with steel. Listening to music and trying new hot sauces are just a few other activities he enjoys doing, but being an orange - cat Dad trumps them all.
FLOCCO DESIGN COMPANY
Started in the spare bedroom of his college apartment, in November of 2024, the Flocco Design Company came to be after a lifetime dream of being a brand designer. Gabriel spent weeks developing and over-analyzing several different logo mockups, sweating over what exact hex code he should use. After a few words of encouragement from friends and family, he was finally able to land on a logo, name, and the right shade of orange.
The Flocco Design Company focuses on expanding users experience through intentional design and brand identity. Selected to redesign Millersville University’s intramural championship t-shirts, the Flocco Design Company played into the childlike wonder that still lives in college students heads and illustrated a playful take on the schools mascot.
The Flocco Design Company and its owner, Gabriel, hope to bring new design elements and technique to communities across both Delaware and the United States. Gabriel’s love for brand identity shows through the company’s work, making sure that your business will be hard to forget.
