GabeBets was curated from an Alter Ego project I did for my Social Media class. This project required you to create an alter ego for yourself and make posts on social media aligned to your desired audience. My alter ego, GabeBets, was an account made to post sports betting props as well as overall sports betting topics. Every week I would post a breakdown for certain NFL Primetime games as well as posting a few NBA breakdown posts if I felt there were good games on that night. Along with the breakdowns, I would make Gambling Awareness posts periodically as I was also promoting healthy gambling habits. All odds, picks, props, and phone numbers were real and sourced. My goal was to put out my personal picks and thoughts, for the sports betting community, but it was never to direct anyone a specific way. I left it in the hands of the audience. We had some wins. We had some losses. That’s just how it goes.
